TERMINAL DESIGN AND PORT SURVEYS

MARINE SIMULATION
With decades of experience in marine simulation we can offer expert input into terminal design, vessel suitability, accident investigation, maritime training and more. With relationships with several simulator centres worldwide we can assist in ensuring simulation meets our clients requirements.
TRAINING
We have designed and delivered a range of bespoke courses for marine professionals from safety training to crisis management. We have the knowledge and experience to ensure a training package delivers for both client and student.
PILOTAGE CONSULTANCY
We have established new pilot services and harbour authorities and provided training and CPD for existing pilots and VTS staff. We have also designed courses for major shipping companies to ensure bridge teams integrate effectively during pilotage and are robust enough to challenge pilot decisions and actions
NAVIGATIONAL RISK ASSESSMENT
Identifying the risks in any marine environment and ensuring those risks are properly managed is essential to all maritime organisations. Whether as part of an audit, a planning application or a post incident review we can provide high quality IMO/PMSC approved NRA's to ensure compliance, manage risk and demonstrate an ALARP policy.
SPM OPERATIONS
With expert consultants with decades of Single Point Morring knowledge we are able to help in all areas of single point mooring and associated liquid bulk transfers. Whether it's a new installation, safety audit or overhaul our team have the comprehensive knowledge to ensure safe SPM operations.
MARINE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Accidents are unfortunately an inevitable part of life. Understanding why an accident happened, identifying the cause and preventing any similar incidents occurring again is essential for any organisation. Our marine investigators can ensure a comprehensive 360 analysis of an incident, identify the factors that lead to it and also mitigate any future repeat.
PILOT LADDER SAFETY
Through our sister company Fathom Safety we deliver high quality Pilot Ladder Safety Training. We offer tailored multi-platform training in every element of pilot transfer safety. We also offer remote audit and support services via our 24hr helpline and post incident investigation.
PREVIOUS PROJECTS
We wrote and delivered a bespoke training package for Orsted to provide a comprehensive marine training package for their CTV skippers. This helped to improve vessel safety, better integration with Port Authorities and reduced incidents.
We worked with a major port in Northern Ireland to recruit, train and deliver a new pilot service. Ensuring the improved safety of the port and full compliance with the Port Marine Safety Code
We have worked with numerous clients to assist in post pilotage related accident investigation. Drawing on decades of pilotage experience we were able to provide insight and expertise to fully identify the cause, liability and where appropriate training to ensure such incidents were not repeated.
We are currently engaged with a complex port development in West Africa that has required significant simulation and evaluation to ensure that given it's location it is achievable and to design a cost effective terminal design for the export of ore.
